Stephanie Clift
"..a 14 yr old star of the future.."
On Saturday 2nd July 2005, 14 year old Stephanie Clift stepped on to the Villa Marina Stage and quickly won the hearts of the capacity crowd. Her stunning rendition of Eva Cassidy singing 'Over the Rainbow' led to the judges' unanimous decision that she was a deserving winner of the Manx Stars In Their Eyes title.
As well as containing new studio recordings of Stephanie performing 'Over The Rainbow' and 'Wonderful World', the disc also contains footage of her performance at the Villa Marina. The track 'Wonderful World' features Stephanie's friend Ingrid du Toit on piano and both songs were recorded by Dave Armstrong for Stereoscout Records.
The CD costs just £5 and all profits will go to the charities "Hospice Care Isle of Man" and Nobles Hospital Neo-Natal Unit.
